In my opinion, the developers' approach determines the status of the Patroen follower
Some developers like L&P in Patroen sell content earlier than the official release date. And their subscribers are actually buyers.
L&Ptreats them like a customer

But others like NLT in Patroen only attract supporters. They provide quality content on a regular basis and subscribers support NLT out of complete satisfaction.

Also, providing an update soon has a great effect on attracting more Patroen , because users on different sites may download a game for free from the older version, but to get a newer version, easier way is become Patroen .

But buying a more expensive account in Patroen depends on the quality of the game and user satisfaction.

For example, the Patroen of L&P buy more expensive accounts than other games.
Another example is BoldBashStudios ("Life in Santa County" developer), which provides quality content for only with 276 Patroens its monthly income of $ 1,570.

I'd be curious what GingerSweetGirl's comparative analysis of AfterChoices is, since he lists AWAM as one of his influences. But then again, Patreon has been screwing AfterChoices around with paying him as he flees Myanmar, so is switching to Subscribestar. Particularly since the content with the MC's stepdaughter also happens to be heating up. If L&P did a smooth transition to Substar, I'd be far less concerned about the future of this game with content like the bonus storyline, 2nd side job, etc, etc.

Didn't include PM since it's more of a generalist FMC game. Sure, she's a mom, but that game is clearly a sex focused game with a more whimsical story. Afterchoices is similar. And the main draw for FMC mom game's isn't the MC being a mom, it's MC being a mom which leads to incestuous activities as a focus of the game.

So, to me, AWAM is still alone in it's niche. A story focused FMC mom game, in which incest is more of a focus and not just another plotline. That's why I mentioned his patrons support due to anticipation, not what has happened. Dylan, Ellie and Pat. And how those 3 relate to other notable characters like Sam and Julie (the blonde girl who Sophia kissed at the pool?).

JOHN is probably the closest comp to AWAM. A slower paced story FMC game, but without incest. Bonus points for both of them being really slow to develop.

Hey yall so what game would yall recommend for someone who likes this game.

No comic games, 3D only please.

I have already finished "Man of the house" and loved it. So a game similar to that and this game would be great. TIA

he normally pushes the other stuff with 10% daily, if he keeping this speed we maybe get a release around mid april. but we all know better, i think the release will be early-mid mai.

However, this game still underachieves. It's literally the only notable mom MC game, as far as I know. His current patrons are patrons because of anticipation of what could happen, not what has happened.

It's true that female protag games don't receive too much support generally, but that's because they tend to be less popular. This game is an exception, it's as popular as the most popular male protag games, so, that's not the real reason of getting less support than others. I'm going to write in more detail in my next comment, this one was more than anything for my comeback.

Can the animation be Sofia touching herself along with the sample released by L&P? Maybe the animations do contain Sofia in it..

Games like Dragon Age 4 and the new Mass Effect will have released before AWAM gets to a sex scene with Sophia and any of the other men in game.
